Learn to Draw Your Favourite Cartoon Characters: A Drawing Group for Kids

Get together in the school holidays with a group of mates (old or new) who all share a common love for drawing!

Is your child creative, with an interest in drawing? At QPAH we want to develop your child’s strengths and there’s no better way to do that than by using their special interest areas.

Why Drawing?

1. Enhancing Fine Motor Skills: Drawing requires the use of hands and fingers to manipulate art tools. This practice can improve fine motor skills, which can be a focus area for children living with disability.

3. Improving Communication Skills: For children who struggle with verbal communication, art can serve as a powerful alternative means of expression. Through their artwork, children can convey emotions, thoughts, and stories that they might not be able to articulate verbally.

5. Boosting Self-Esteem and Confidence: Successfully completing art projects can give children a sense of accomplishment and boost their self-esteem. This is especially important for children with special needs who might struggle with traditional academic achievements.
